Julie Graves

Julie Graves is a senior consultant with Dovetail Consulting Group. She comes to Dovetail from Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she played a leadership role in building the company’s compliance program. At Vertex, she served as the primary compliance business partner for the launch of the company’s first three products and led key initiatives, including the planning and execution of annual compliance risk assessment, design and execution of compliance auditing and monitoring, enhancing the company’s global anti-corruption program, and assessing and improving the control environment around the company’s patient services organization.

Previously, Julie worked as a manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers Pharmaceutical Advisory Practice. In this role, Julie led numerous projects related to compliance program assessments and enhancements as well as transparency program development. She also managed several Independent Review Organization engagements related to Corporate Integrity Agreement obligations.

Julie began her career in the lab, as a scientist at one of the largest life sciences companies in the world. Throughout her career in biotechnology, Julie’s motivation has always been her passion for innovative science and data-driven decision making. She is known for her creative approach to addressing challenges and solving problems in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Julie holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
